Having worked with thousands of students since 1999, 3A Tutors is a professional and successful tutoring centre with a team of highly qualified and committed educators who are dedicated to helping students achieve academic success. They are a leading provider of exam entry and educational services to home-educated students, mature self-study students and distance learning students. As the UK opens up and students are able to sit exams, we’ll be raising funds for cashflow, to increase examination-based facilities and develop the tuition side of the business.

Helping you get the qualifications you need, wherever you are, with the very best.

We’re extremely proud to be a leading provider of exam entry and educational studies for those wishing to attain recognised qualifications in the UK. Our centre has been running since 1999 and we’re passionate about providing opportunities for different types of students of all ages. Our experts are even trained in assisting students with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia and Dyspraxia and our services extend to those with Sensory and Physical Needs, as well as Autism.

Our approach is flexible, enabling students to use a single service or a combination, to achieve the best overall result. They can book examinations, arrange one-to-one tuition and complete mock examinations with us in the period running up to their examinations.

3A Tutors offer tutoring across a wide variety of GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level subjects, including a large number of Modern Foreign Languages. We provide A-Level Science practical endorsements which are held at laboratory facilities at the University of Bristol. In addition, our students in the fast track English and Maths group can achieve a GCSE in just six months.

The facilities at the University of Bristol are perfectly located for our students as they’re easy to access by road and public transport and we also have ample space for parking. The registration process is smooth and our staff are always willing to help ease any exam anxiety. Wheelchair access is available and we provide Access Arrangements for candidates; including additional examination time (typically +25%), supervised rest breaks. The use of a scribe is available, a reader, word processor etc. and access to a private examination room.

Our team is deeply passionate about helping our students achieve their full potential and our services are available face-to-face as well as online. The UK is now opening up and the demand for our services has increased from the need to register for exams as students are now able to take on-premise tests, to more in-person one-to-one tuition. We will be raising funds to increase examination-based facilities and to help develop the tuition side of the business to meet these needs, and for cashflow.

COVID-Resilience:
The demand for tutoring services has increased due to the pandemic, and by 2023 the market is expected to grow by 15.7%.

Credit Risk Comments:
The directors are providing a personal guarantee - this means that if the business fails the directors become personally liable for the loan. The director is a homeowner, however, this does not ensure there are sufficient assets should the loan need to be recovered. There have been no CCJs for the business or directors. This is an exception to the policy due to the low net worth, however the business is long established, demonstrates affordability and the director has a sound credit history. There will be a cross-company guarantee with Translate (GB) Ltd.
