Their highly trained staff, open ended learning techniques, and award-winning focus on healthy eating makes them stand above the competition and give each child a foundation for the future. With four successful locations already throughout Wales, they aim to set up another site with the money raised.
Caring for your child, daytime and beyond
As parents ourselves, we know the importance of having peace of mind about your child in daycare. For this reason, we believe we have the winning formula, with a safe, comfortable, and fun environment that caters to children aged from 6 weeks to 8 years old. We provide the convenience of a guardian, with nappies, wet wipes, and formula milk on hand for the younger ones, and exciting play equipment, up-to-date facilities, and fantastic learning opportunities both indoor and outdoors for the older children with growing minds.
Our staff are highly trained in health and safety, first aid, and behavioural management, and our small class/group number of children ensure that everyone gets the individual and tailored attention they need. We maintain a close and supportive relationship with parents. Each child is allocated a Key Worker who will be their main carer, there to discuss the child's needs, likes, dislikes, or indeed any behavioural concerns you may have, such as bedtime routine and eating habits. We stand out from our competition by endorsing open ended learning and reaping the benefits that come with it, for child, parents, and carers alike. By removing the boundaries and rules of learning, we allow children to harness their individual creative instincts and personalities to problem solve - at the end of the day, we want to teach our children that there is no one 'right' answer all the time.
At the same time, we instil practical life lessons through enjoyable and educational tasks, particularly food preparation. We highly value healthy eating and encourage the children's understanding of nutrition, eating a balanced diet, and so on. Our meals and drinks are fresh and made onsite, where we have a 5 star hygiene rating, plus our snacks have won a Gold Star Award. We have been running for over a decade and currently have four locations in Wales: Swansea, Ocean Park, Wales 1 Day, and Llanishen. The funds raised will go towards a new location and further expanding our success.
