With nearly sixty acres of farmland and a variety of Lavender and herbs, Yorkshire Lavender brings their family project to give customers a unique experience. As well as providing products with healing and therapeutic properties, they host specialised group visits and provide venue spaces for weddings, events, and other celebratory occasions. The funds raised will go towards building out the infrastructure of their online business.

Using the power of nature on your voyage of discovery.

Yorkshire Lavender lays on the outside of Terrington and was created by myself, Nigel, after the death of my wife, Lynne. It became a family passion project to help ignite light and discovery within the bounds of nature, mainly from the lavender plant. With the help of my children, Sam, and Emma Jane, and my brilliant team, we were able to cultivate a myriad of lavenders in its hundreds, as well as herbs.

Our lavender fields come in a stunning range of colours from summer blues, lilacs, and magnificent deep purples with distinct and delightful scents. We have a stunning range of products, from our room sprays, bubble bath range, and our shampoos and conditioners. We believe that lavender is at the heart of healing and we take pride in tracing back its history to take advantage of these qualities to bring our customers the very best.

Not only do we sell products online and in our shop, but we also own an award-winning tea room that serves tremendous morning coffees, lunches, and afternoon cream teas. Our freshly baked lavender scones and locally made lavender ice cream is particularly popular. Our customers can enjoy this all whilst basking in our superb panoramic views over the Vale of York.

We also offer group visits and our venues are available to hire for weddings and events, as well as other special occasions.

Although we have temporarily shut our farm and our shops, our online store has been performing well, and so the money raised will go towards building out the infrastructure of our online business.
