Getting Started

The Smart-Invest feature can help you take full advantage of your IFISA. Once you’ve set-up your IFISA, you can set up your Smart-Invest from your dashboard. Here you’ll define your investment criteria and set up your investing plan.

The system only invests in opportunities that meet your criteria on a monthly basis. Over time, Smart-Invest will build a balanced investment portfolio for you.

  1. The system selects businesses based on the needs and criteria you set in your profile.
  2. Every time an investment is made, you will receive a notification through Crowd2Fund.
  3. Repayments on these investments are paid back to you on a monthly basis, and re-invested in new matching opportunities.

Things to consider before investing:

  • When setting up Smart-Invest, you can specify an upfront investment amount, and then define an ongoing investing plan that works for you.
  • Every month your investment funds are collected via direct debit, and the system selects opportunities that are suited to you — and your appetite for risk.
  • You can also choose not to re-invest your repayments, which include both your interest and initial loan capital.
  • You can pause your Smart-Invest plan at any time.
  • You can also potentially access your capital by selling your investments to others on the Exchange.

Enhanced Features

Smart-Repayments

You will receive monthly repayments following the closure of the campaign in which you invested. If you wish to increase your portfolio ROI, then your repayments can be automatically re-invested on a monthly basis. This is done by agreeing to the 'Re-invest my monthly repayments' tick box on the Settings page. This feature only works for repayments totaling ÂŁ100 or more.

Smart-Schedule

If you receive lots of small repayments, but don’t want the hassle of re-investing every time, we would like to invite you to set-up a Smart-Schedule. This is allows you to specify the wallet balance at which you wish a Smart-Investment to be made. For example, should you set your wallet balance at £150, the system will automatically invest the total £150 across campaigns that match your desired APR.

Smart-Invest account balance

The Smart-Wallet allows you to invest in all campaigns that match your criteria instantaneously at the click of a button. You must have more than ÂŁ100 available in your wallet for this feature to work. Simply click the Smart-Invest button from your dashboard and your investments will be made.
