Growth Plans For The Future

FinTech will be the foundation.

20th January 2021

Our Crowd2Fund community has already invested in over 500 businesses since we were established in 2014. We are incredibly proud to have raised £35 million with our community of investors, who have also potentially earned good, tax-free returns to date. We truly believe that small businesses are pivotal in the growth of our economy and we are eager to help businesses get back on track with our Reboot Britain campaign, which is due to launch soon.

Crowd2Fund is a modern and revolutionary tried-and-tested community, that enables investors to connect with the entrepreneurs they choose to invest in, directly through the platform. We are planning to scale-up to facilitate investment into 3,467 innovative businesses annually. This is because we will grow our investor community to 36,352 investors who will invest a total of £277 million into these businesses yearly – this is based on a capital injection of £10m, to grow our platform, based on a well-evidenced financial model.

During the downtime, we’ve been incredibly busy auditing the platform, reviewing the historic loan book performance, refreshing the website and protecting your investments. We’re getting close to relaunching soon and we’ve got some really exciting plans to reveal.

We are planning on scaling our revolutionary platform to mobilise billions of pounds of private capital for high-growth entrepreneurs and businesses - the future of our economy. The community platform is not just about investment, it will also be a support network for entrepreneurs to scale across common law markets via a FinTech foundation. There are 2.4 billion people living across the Commonwealth nations and these markets are ripe for growth. Given the right financial infrastructure, UK entrepreneurs can access a global marketplace of investors, customers, like-minded entrepreneurs and suppliers via Crowd2Fund. Crowd2Fund will have the capability to provide basic financial services across these markets, such as accounts and business credit.

We see a future of UK businesses designing, innovating and producing new products whilst leveraging new and exciting global supply chains. Market access will be online, and the foundation of the marketplace will be FinTech.

It has been a challenging year and an unprecedented time for all of us, however, this does not mean we cannot seek to continue to deliver our plans to support entrepreneurial growth, especially in a time where it is needed more than ever.

We are keen on making sure that we do our part for the economy and to help our fellow entrepreneurs – not only to bounce back, but to give them an opportunity to expand globally.

Welcome to the age of the Global Entrepreneur.
